Congratulations...I am so in awe of the wonderfully romantic ending.

I am a cougar too and have been married to my cub for 27 years...

I at first became his friend, and was hesistant to further my relationship with him as he too came across and egotistical and over confident. I met my husband in my first musical theatre performance. He is also an actor/business man who opened his heart to me.We have had our ups and downs but have shared so many precious memories...We have a beautiful daughter!

We look forward to sharing our lives with our future grandchildren. God Bless you both...

I am so happy for both of you....watching Jimmy propose gave me buterflys in my stomache.

I am so happy for the both of you. I too am a Cougar, 42 and the man of life is 21. You picked the right guy in Jimmy. His family is so great and you know they will accept your children into their life. I'm glad you found love. You are right, there are no boundaries in age or time when it comes to true love. Good luck to the both of you. AND tell Jimmy he is so great and I'm so glad he gave you an experience you will never forget in getting down on one knee and proposing. You both are lucky to have each other.

Stacey, first I want to say that I support your right to date and marry a younger man. I am a younger man who dates women of all ages. But the fact that I am actually open to women of all ages when I date makes me question why you would say age is just a number. Maybe I could get away with saying that but how can a person who refuses to date older men say that? How could a guy my age who says that older women are better than younger women say that?

You also say that you are non-judgemental. That also doesn't fit well with someone who claims that they can't get along with men her own age. It seems that you are very judgmental, just judgmental of older men. If you truly haven't been able to find any men your age that you have anything in common with, you must be fishing in a dead pond. My 30 year old sister is dating a guy who is 43. Her first older man and honestly, most of my friends can't keep up with him. He's also very kind and light hearted.

I can understand though that as you get older, you have more resposnibilties than a guy who is 23 and has no responsibilities. That will alter how a guy views things I guess but then that's the thing about responsibilites like children and a mortgage and deadlines at work where you have meetings to attend and have to have your stuff in order every time you go in front of the boss or in front of a client. I also know people in real estate like yourself(aunt and frind of my aunt) and that business while tough is not the same as business like my dad is in. The stress, responsibilities and requirements are far higher for my dad. While one could argue that my dad is not as carefree as I am, I also know that this bad economy did not hit him hard because he did take care of his responsibilities. A friend of his is on the verge of bankruptcy and this guy was always accused of acting like he was just out of college. He was always carefree and upbeat but he was also not worrying about his responsibilities like my dad did. He's not so carefree and light hearted these days. His family is also going to suffer for his attitude. So I guess you choose your poison.

Sorry about the rant, just wanted to point out the hypocracy of those statements.

I am so glad you like younger men I like younger men also and think it is great. Unfortunately the town I live is you have to date aman your own age and yuck they take my spirit away I notice younger men make me smile and laugh and hope to meet more older women who have had asuccessful relationship with ayounger man. I can see that jimmies family embraced you with open arms and I loved it. You made the right choice it It must have been so hard to choose from two wonderful young men! I live in atown where women are supposed to date men my age 45 or older and the older men get mad at me because I like younger men (they take my spirit away) younger men make me laugh and smile. Krista you are right people who blast older women/younger men relationships are just jeolous old hags who are with the most boring man of their life. Hats off to you and Jimmy and keep us informed when the wedding is and wpics of the wedding. I am so glad that your family approves that you like dating younger men and I agree100% what you said about older men.

Ohmy! Stacey, I am just thrilled beyond belief for both you & Jimmy. I must admit that he was not my favorite, but he just kind of up & grew on me in the last couple of weeks. Travis was my man for you from the jump, with Colt coming in 2nd. I'm glad you kept Jimmy on the show because he started to grow on me after awhile, but were the positions reversed, I most likely would have sent him packing. I'm sooo glad you didn't.

I fell in love with the show from the jump & didn't miss a single second of it. In fact, I watched it 2-3 times a week. LOL!

Now, I must admit to one thing. I am 55 & a lesbian. You have no idea how often I said, "I sure wish she was into older women rather than younger men!" I hope you take that to be the true compliment that it is because I can't think of one that is more sincere coming from me.

I didn't like Jimmy at first, but then I watched the videos again and he grew on me. I think he was just so in awe of you he came off as nervous all the time...like he was on edge... which can be interpreted as insecure or like he was trying too hard. But maybe he really was on edge if he had feelings for you. Anyway, I now also agree you seem to have made a good choice. Especially seeing Jimmy's reaction to the final selection--it was like once he knew for sure you wanted him as much as he wanted you, all the nervousness just melted away and then he looked happy and finally at ease. I never had a hottie like that kiss me and pick me up and give me a twirl.... that must have been fun :) He looks like he's the passionate type...and you need that in a relationship as well. Best of times to you both!

Stacey, you were right on all down the line. You picked the three best, then picked the right man for you. I think Jimmy's family is great and will bring you and your children so much love and support. And Jimmy really looks like he's in love with you. There was an unmistakable tenderness in him, in his eyes. I wish you all the best! I love younger men; I'm at least 15 to 26 years older than the men I date. Oh Paaaaaa leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz COLT over Jimmy. Colt couldn't even sing and all his songs sounded the same. There was no variety in his talent. He wasn't a stable person, he was still searching for his dream. Jimmy was much more stable and much more attractive. Besides Colt had that walk like WC Fields. Paaaa leeeeezzzzzz

I believe that love and commitment can make anything work. And it's not like they are 25 years apart in age. Well, even if that were the case, age really is just a number. They just look so complete and happy with eachother. I wish Stacey and Jimmy all the best together.
