Shelly you are a nice looking woman, don't ruin it by your ugly childess ways. You will go further in life by just accepting who you are, and not trying to hurt others by your smart silly remarks that are not called for. Remember be the older mature person, don't show your real colors which come off to be a little childess, trust me it's not cute and it takes away from you. Remember people sit back and they watch how you carry yourself and they listen to your comments. Don't be ugly it's not becoming to who you want to be

Well we don't really know any of these women, but beauty must be more than skin deep - right? So everytime Shelly started in on a competitor, all I could think was what a child. She failed to show professionalism, maturity, good sportsmanship, resilience, the ability to take constructive feedback..the list got so long for me that eventually she just didn't seem beautiful at all. I think she needs to fix her self-esteem issues and start believing in her own beauty instead of looking to others for that validation. Does it matter if another contestant is fake if you are true to yourself? And really she wouldn't want Sean Patterson to represent her if LeeAnn wins - did she really say that? And making a pouty lip as the judges were bidding her goodbye?

I wish her well and I'm glad she was able to have a nice run - but it was time for her to go.

Shelley. I'm happy you're gone. Someone as spiteful, immature and caustic as you should never have the privilege of being in the spotlight. They should have never given you the chance, because quite frankly, despite you taking good print pictures, your evil stares, rolling eyes, weepy breakdowns, and rude and nasty comments remind me of the ninth graders I teach. Very immature for someone of your age. Leeann has a great personality and she's stunningly beautiful. Everyone could see right through your bitterness - it was just plain old jealousy. Don't play yourself. You know it too. Bye.

Shelley beautiful? Maybe in print ads, but beauty is as beauty does. She's got a disgusting, deplorable personality. She's 36 going on 12. Grow up! Thank goodness she's gone. I was going to quit watching if she made it to the final three.

Shelly is the most annoying contestant on that show. she is not a team player and the more i watch the show the more i wish she would go home. She brings the whole place down. i would rather have seen Sandy go on. Shelly has not learned, or grown or even tried to act better.

I had to go to the doctor toay because I wasn't feeling well. I was diagnosed with an ear infection. Come to think of it, I did watch the 3rd Episode of SGTL the night before. Shelley was doing SOOOOOO much whining that I truly belive she caused my ear infection. It is no wonder she is experiencing a plethora of personal hardships. Kudos to the other mature ladies in the house for tolerating with her childish antics!!!!!!!!

I 100% agree with you. Raquel is not only a beautifull girl but she is a kind person. and yess!!!!! Shelly needs to leave! she is a big baby who cant handle anything let alone the life she built for her self. i'm tired of hearing her cry about how awfull peple are. but if Raquel is reading this you are a winner! you go girl!!!

Theresa, First, I think you're fabulous! I know you are beautiful on the outside but my sense as the show goes on is that you are also deeply beautiful on the inside.

I am hoping that you will post a blog on your "true" age! That is phenomenal!

What is it exactly that you do? Do you eat meat and dairy? What kind of exercise and how regularly? Supplements? Etc. What's the secret?

Now don't get me wrong< yes Shelley gets on my nerves and I can't stand to see her "woo-as me" act. I have played sports and been in compotitions for years. You never let your guard down and you NEVER let your opponent see you cry. That's just a fact of life. And yah maybe LeeAnn is acting but as long as she keeps it real and doesn't act like a baby then good, I'm all for her. You can't come into a reality show such as this, and think the world is all sunshine and flowers. Some people really want to win. And if that's what they want and they are going to do all they can to win, that's where you put on your "game face" and do your best too. I think Shelley is an emotinal GIRL. Yes girl, this is for "strong women" (a judge said) she needs to put on her big girl pants and open her eyes to what's really going on. Such as C'mon the whole group agents her, please.... I'm sure some one understands what I'm saying< she is very pretty but needs to grow up a lot>

OMIGOD!!!!! The judges totaly missed the mark in sending Raquel home. Its VERY CLEAR even based on the 3musketeer Photo Gallery photo shoot (on this site) that there were better pictures that could have been chosen. They should have sent that chic (Shelly) with the multiple personalities home outof any of the ladies. It's unbelievable &^%$# that Raquel was sent home!!

Whose Underwear Is Under There?

Where is my 4:30 a.m. wake-up from Laurie? We use to call that time of the morning, "Oh-dark-30" when I was in the military. Laurie would have fit right in. I was actually missing her motivational speeches.

Well, it was another beautiful but rainy day in New York. As we stretched, yawned and scratched our bellies, I decided to make breakfast. I became known as the resident chef in the house, thanks to my Southern upbringing. Well, to my surprise, inside our living room in the loft were makeup stands with tons and tons of cosmetics. My first thought was, "Thank goodness... cover these bags," as they were starting to form under my eyes from sleep deprivation.

While we were getting our makeup done, I had a conversation with the beautiful Jamie. I gave her the nickname Nurse Jamie, because I accidentally bruised my rear end doing an exercise and Jamie came to the rescue by putting cream and band-aids on my wound. I asked her, "Wouldn't it be funny if we had to do bikini shots today -- in the rain?" Hmmm, if only I'd known what was in store for us.

You want me to wear only what?!

So our leg-up challenge was just that: we were doing a photo shoot in Central Park in our... drumroll please... UNDERWEAR! Uh, did someone forget to tell the crew it was raining cats, dogs and little children outside? Speaking of children, did anyone remember some of us have had children, so our bodies might not be as "tight" as they use to be? The world is going to see me in my underwear -- now I'm about to panic. But someone comes and saves the day. Who, you ask?

The gorgeous Dolores! This woman stepped out on that set and took her photos as if it were a sunny day outside and she had on a full set of clothing. I couldn't believe it! She is so regal and fascinating to talk to. I was floored at how she moved and smiled, as if it was just another day at work. I want to be like her when I grow up (smile).

I got out there in the rain and started posing. I knew one of my best features on my body was my stomach, so I tried to do more athletic shots. I knew the other girls were going to go for the sexy look, so I wanted to be different.

Frederique, a former Victoria's Secret supermodel, was at our next challenge. And what a challenge it was! We had to get on trampolines for a 3 Musketeers candy bar campaign. We were put on teams and we had to synchronize our jumps. Talk about hard work, but it was a good time.

At elimination, the thing I thought would work for me actually worked against me. Being athletic in the underwear shot was not pleasing to the judges. They felt I put up a good effort but it was just not enough, so in the end, I was the one to go home. As I look back on the experience as a whole, I will say that it was worth it. Not only did I take on challenges I may have never tackled if I was still in the military, I met -- and still have --some wonderful friends from the show.

Where do I go from here, you ask? Well, my time is not up in front of the camera, ladies and gentlemen. I think I'll work on hosting my own TV show.

You haven't seen the last of me. I still have a mission!

I do think Shelly needs to toughen it up a bit. She is crying yet again in the preview for the upcoming show this week of June 22, 2009 because she feels LeeAnn is vicious yet she takes gorgeous photos. I say its ok to be emotional but sometimes you need to go behind closed doors by yourself so you won't come across as weak and easily intimidated. Remember, depending on how long any of these ladies last in the competition there are millions of people watching ie.... Photographers, Make-Up Artists, Designers, Producers etc and if you are not perceived well then you can kiss any chance of potential clients calling you because they will be like why bother. When they initially chose Laurie I was like um-okay because altough its fine to be outside of the box she was a bit over the top and I'm quite surprised that the industry people who are used to summing people up in a short time did they miss the mark with her or just didn't care cause that slot couldv'e been filled by someone else who wouldv'e love to be there. She ended up wanting to go home but the ladies all agreed they'd feel safer with her out of the house. I hope she gets help if she needs it cause she seems to be going a hundred miles an hour.

Why be ugly in our posts? I don't think this girl is a fake. I think she is overwhelmed at times, and that is fine. And why act as if no on is out to get her when the phoney one (LeeAnn) certainly is?

Gosh, she shed tears over how she lost someone she loved the day before, yawn... and her carnie interview was downright corny. I am surprised she was brought back as she overtalked in her interview, and as she said, she ACTED her best.

But Laurie was crazy from the beginning. They should have known better, or knew she wouldn't last long and it would be a fun watch.

GROW UP! if its so hard go home< but if your gonna stay suck it up and deal with it. life isnt all about you and you cant expect every one to fall for your poor farm girl act, because i sure am not. so basically if you cant stand the pressure then walk away.

Just Breathe

OK, Theresa, just breathe slowly... Now all you have to do is put on your big girl panties and go for it! Seems so simple, really. But after being on a high from being told "you're on the board," I got a realistic shot in the arm.

The makeover: I just knew they would cut my hair. However, I wasn't prepared for my reaction. It had been 30 years since my hair had been "short." I have trouble with change. I change my underwear and almost hyperventilate. Thank goodness Cutler Hair Salon is staffed by professionals who have great insight. But this day took a lot of deep breathing.

Another sudden change on the bus was simply to play with our heads. I don't recommend changing your clothes on a city bus in downtown New York! But I did make a mental note to always carry 50 lbs. of clothing with me - just in case.

Upon arriving at the audition, the advertising clients had Dolores, Jacqueline and me leave the room almost immediately. We missed all of the drama but I knew something was up, just a bad feeling. When the women came out of the room, it felt as if an explosion went off! Shelly was ranting and screaming at LeeAnne and Laurie. We all just sat there shocked and embarrassed.

Several thoughts were going through my head. Did Shelly really believe she wasn't beautiful? Why did she need a bunch of strangers telling her that she was? Would it make that much of a difference in her life if they didn't, or was this just an act? I felt like I was in that show with a bunch of teenagers vying to be discovered as supermodels -- not confident, strong, intelligent women who were 35 and older.

Just breathe...

Finally, at the photo shoot, we got to have some fun. The gorgeous dresses were already chosen for us. The hair and makeup artists did all the magic with our baggy, bloodshot eyes and flat hair. How could we go wrong? Some women were uncomfortable with the dress choices but I told them "The secret is to not let anyone know about it." The model always has to look like she loves the clothes and can't wait to wear them. No matter how many Spanx it takes to look great!

The First Elimination Day

All the women knew something was up with Laurie that morning. She hadn't slept in a few days and was exercising excessively. She had awakened me at 2 a.m. and said "God had told her in a dream to get all of the women together and refuse to compete as a group." I then told her, "God had spoken to me, too, and he said to tell you that you need to go downstairs and sleep." She did.

Another really big breath...

I found that I would be saying this to myself over and over again. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right? If we had five different judges tomorrow, they would choose completely different women. It is incredibly subjective, period. But all in all, I am finding most of the women are competitive, yes, but also kind, strong and fabulous. It is an honor for me to be included in this group. Sadly, we find the future brings out the dishonest and manipulative behavior in one of our own. Stay tuned.
