Colt - Stacey liked Jimmy more! She wanted someone to slam her on the pool-table and do her. She wanted a guy that she knew could physically protect her from other men. Hopefully you agree... those were Jimmy more than you. You're "deep" and "artistic" and "creative" and those things aren't Jimmy, we get that. But in every other aspect of being a man, he beat you hands down. Hate that because it's true. Stacey wanted that in a man much more than one who writes lyrics straight from his soul. But don't worry Big Guy, there's tons of girls out there that want a cry-baby that they can hug and share things and write music together. There's even a girl like that with a hot face and *&^%$#. So don't worry. Be happy. Just don't take it out on Jimmy Heck.

I don't know how I ended up watching this show. I've never watched a single episode of a show like this. I typically find it unnerving after just a few minutes. But, I stumbled onto the first episode and something caught my attention. I think I have it narrowed down to this moderately charming young man who calls himself "Colt". Well...either that or it was Nick. Let's face it...sure the guy is creepy, but he's more than a little bit fascinating, too...in an anthropological kind of way. I think I would watch an entire show centered around Nick (or at least I would try). I see it being somewhat like the ill-fated but classic show, I'm With Busey.

Colt, if you are reading this, though it seems rather unlikely that you are, I was pullin' for you, man. I couldn't begin to judge whether she made the right decision for her but I can tell you that this slightly older woman (29) would have chosen you in a heartbeat. Best of luck in all your endeavors and keep it up with the whole "guitars make the ladies swoon" thing. It's workin' for ya.

Oh, and you need a sweatband to go with your short-shorts. I'm sure there is some kind of rule that states that somewhere.

Hey Colt--

I hope you read this and know that you are a truly genuine person and I have been deeply affected by watching the final episode of The Cougar, as I'm sure many others have. It was all in good fun until America saw you cry. It was obvious that you really fell for Stacy, and I'm so sorry that you were hurt. I just want to say (as I am now 31 and have found a great man)--you will encounter much better people for you in the future, and better matched for you as well...I can almost promise you that. It may be hard to see now, but Stacy already has four children, and as a musician (and need to earn your stripes--I know, my brother is a Musician your age), you will struggle financially for awhile which would have inevitably led to conflict between you and her. Also, although she is a beautiful, accomplished woman, she was a little too materialistic for you, so although I was heartbroken that you were not chosen, I truly think now that it was for the better.

I hope that you update your blog, or redirect your newly acquired 'fans' to your true-life blog so that we can watch you grow and finally see you as happy as you deserve to be. Please let us know how you are doing. Again, you are a gorgeous, talented young man, and only good things will come to you, so keep your chin up always...and if nothing else, good music springs from a broken heart. America loves to see your crooked smile.

I thought you were the most intersting and captivating guy on the show. You handled yourself beautifully, from dealing with Jon and Ryan, to showing Stacy just who you really are. I was sad to see you leave, but remember: she never said

that she did not have feelings for you, she made her decision based on what she thought would fairest to you. You are

genuine and an easy person to love. The people who have you in their lives are just very lucky - you seem to make things

brighter and much more fun.

If you decide that someone makes you happy and the best that you can be, don't worry about an age difference. I have dated

men twenty to twenty five years younger than me and they have worked out better than anyone my own age. Everyone is

different and what works for one person may not work for another. Watch how you interact with someone and if you love

yourself more with her by your side, then she's right for you. Good luck to you and thank you for making the show more

fun. Loved the cub cam to the hot tub.

I enjoyed your blog, Colt. It's nice that you and Jimmy have honestly complimented each other along with conducting yourselves as gentlemanly as one can in this venue. Honestly, I don't think you'll be the final one but you will be some lucky girls' final one someday. I say someday because you should work on your career and please don't get caught up in the 'reality' show circuit. You are talented, intellegent and have an adorable smile. The only thing that I, as a female, would change about you is the hair style! Let it grow and get an updated look to enhance your handsome face. I think many women are attracted to Jimmy because his clothes, style and overall look say, "sophisticated" and that's appealing. The entire season I wished the producers would update your hair etc.

However, those are really shallow things as you seem to be a super guy with a super future. Best Wishes from Florida!

The best is yet to come. Keep your head up, and a simple suggestion...don't give up. "He'd like to date a cougar because he says people his own age just want to go to bars and get wasted, which bores him." That's crazy talk. You're an amazing YOUNG man. Try searching for someone on the tame side...someone along the lines of a progressing friend rather than a prowling cougar on a clock. [no offense to anyone]

I had never seen the show before. I was scanning through the channels when your face popped up...more like your eyes stood out. (Don't take that as a cheesy attempt to "get at you") To state our first thing in common, we both are romantics, and with that said, I would have to add to the comment I made in relation to your eyes drawing my attention. I do believe the eyes sell the heart. This statement leading to a couple new things I would like to experience: (1) looking into your eyes as the sun sets and imagining what it is that Travis has to offer as the "sweet and polite" person that he is [and not as a cast member on such reality show], and (2) getting the chance to "feel" what's within you as I hear you play the piano. [ I'll probably start singing if you get lucky lol]

Take me as a corny individual if you wish, but I would prefer these events over a "fun" night at a bar as any other 19 year old would probably be anticipating. [I did warn you I was a romantic] Don't get me wrong and think I'm a boring person, not at all. I like to live life to it's fullest potential. I would just rather spend a weekend outside hiking down to a waterfall or traveling along the coast versus being a part of the well-known overrated party scene (it bores me too and I'm not even 21 yet..I'm 19).

Well, I wish there were another mean of communication to reach out to you but I guess this blog will have to do...for now. Aside from me blabbing on, I guess I was trying to genuinely advise to find the eloquence in youth. I'm currently exploring it as well and I would certainly cherish the special moment if I ever did get to cross paths with you. (THAT was cheesy haha but at least I'm being honest.)

You and Colt write some pretty entertaining content. Both of you need your own show, I'd love to see you two battle it out as opposed to Jimmy and Colt. Bringing your brother back was a real surprise but much needed because if it wasn't for him I think she would have still kept you. After watching what happened in Vegas, ewwwww. It showed, once again, that Stacey is simply in this to hook up with as many younger men as possible. I think she's tired of being played all her life and now it's time to do the playing.

Wow. Colt, you're really smart and funny. This blog is hilarious. Stacy and I are the same age so I understand what she's going through and why she's drawn to you. You're young but stable. I think she'll pick you, but I actually don't think it will work out. In same ways, you're too emotionally mature for her. She likes young guys because she's not big on any kind of complexity. She doesn't like baggage, and, Colt, you seem like you bring some baggage as all complex people do. Although I think she's really pretty, smart, and accomplished, you are a little to intellectual for her. She's smart in a much more conventional way. I think you'll get bored with each other. You'll want a woman - of any age - with some more edge. She'll want a man who's more of a boy toy, less of a partner. If you stick together, I do think you'd be a good dad. Your brothers were terrific. They were honest, thoughtful, serious and so sweetly protective. She's going to pick you, but it doesn't look like it will work out.
