Unfortunatelt, it is already here!  Due to sleeping issues, I have been watching some late night tv.  Cable stations, not broadcast, are the big offenders.  Anyway, between 1230 am and 5 am I cave been hearing the "F" word used many times.

Personally I find the "BEEPS" more annoying than the words they are trying to BEEP. Longs as V-chips are in sync with the language/ratings given , and people have control of blocking out the language they don't want to hear ,  then I don't know what the problem is.

I was standing in the park wondering why frisbees got bigger as they get closer. Then it hit me.

TV characters have been using "Friggin" or "Freakin" for years but we all know what they mean!!

Smile! It will make others wonder what you're up to! };-)

It's all so tiresome, really.  Are we supposed to be impressed by hearing that word on TV?  I wonder, once the F word is commonplace on TV, what new words will the screenwriters come up with to shock us?  And some people wonder why we like to watch shows like "The Andy Griffith Show" or "Leave It To Beaver".

Message to all screenwriters:  F bombs and the S word are not substitutes for good writing.

Something I heard the other night is that the FCC does not have control of the content of shows on cable. They only have control of the airwaves and that is why those stations have to be licenced. Perhaps Link will weigh in on this.

Kudos!
