Hi TVLand.com Visitor,

You’re probably here because you’re having trouble viewing full episode video. I’m sorry you’re experiencing issues; it’s never fun when something isn’t working the way it should. I’ll work with you to resolve whatever problems you are having. To save time, and to assist you as quickly and efficiently as possible, please read the following.

> Suggested Software

>> FLASH

The full episodes require FLASH version 10.0 or above to be installed. You can find out what version of FLASH you have by going to this Adobe website: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_15507.

If you have a version less than 10.0 installed, we recommend updating to the latest version.

Flash Download for PC/Internet Explorer: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

If you are on a MAC, or are using a different setup, visit this link: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

>> JAVA

It is also ideal, that you have the latest version of JAVA installed on your system.
You can verify you have the “recommended” (by the software creators) version of JAVA installed by visiting: http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp. You will be prompted to download the latest version if applicable. For optimal performance on tvland.com, it is recommended that you install the recommended version of Java.

You can manually update to the latest version of JAVA, by visiting: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

>> WEB BROWSER

Full episode content is best viewed on Internet Explorer (versions 7.0+), Firefox (versions 3.0+), Safari (versions 3.0+), in addition to Google Chrome. These are provided as suggestions; full episodes may be viewed with success on older versions of these browsers, in addition to other browsers.

For your convenience, here are links to download the latest versions of select web browsers:

Internet Explorer: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/ie/default.mspx

Firefox: www.mozilla.com/firefox/

Safari: http://www.apple.com/safari/download/

Google Chrome: http://www.google.com/chrome

Regardless of what browser/version you are using, it is important to have all recommended updates installed. You can find out how to do this, via the corresponding help section in your browser.

> Temporary Internet Files

Please delete all and any temporary internet files. Note that his may cause saved passwords and other data you have saved for web use to be deleted. If you need guidance in deleting your temporary internet files, please consult the help section of your browser.

> Firewalls

In some cases your installed Firewall software may cause you to see a blank white screen in the place of full episodes. You can determine if a Firewall is causing this problem, by temporarily disabling it, then attempting to view full episodes.

If Firewall software is affecting your ability to watch video content on tvland.com, it is recommended you contact the software manufacturer to resolve this problem.

If you are comfortable with/or are able to manually edit your firewall settings: You may need to create an “exception” (URL/location to be excluded from your firewall) – please include
http://entertainment.mtvnservices.com/ and http://media.mtvnservices.com/ as exceptions (these are the locations where video is streamed from).

> Still Having Trouble?

We’d be more than glad to work with you directly to resolve any issues you continue to have. As users have very different setups – including software versions, etc, it’s important for us to get as much information as possible to assist you.

4.) Version of FLASH installed.

5.) Version of JAVA installed.

5.) Detailed information about the problem you are experiencing (ex: What series, what episodes, outline the steps of what you are doing to view the video, and what exactly you are experiencing).

We will attempt to get you up and running as quickly as possible. Generally expect a response in 1-2 business days, please be sure to respond to any follow-up questions at your earliest convenience.

Happy viewing!
