  I thank you all so very much for your true concern, thoughts and

prayers.  Rosebud, I absolutely LOVE the beautiful picture you put

on here for me.  Redbee, I can't find your two Thanksgiving poems!!

Where ya hiding them?

  Also, Rosebud, sweetheart, I am so sorry you misunderstood what

Aiyana wrote.  I originally called her about my leg, and when I got

back from the hospital, I found Aiyana left a message on my machine

to find out how I made out at the doctor.  We talked, and I told her

she should have got on the "scooter" and come to Massachusetts

from Kentucky to take me to the hospital.  It was a silly joke we

were talking about.  I told her she should put that scooter thing on

the post.  The reason for naming Scarlette & Redbee, is like she wrote

that on the post "asking a question with a question", we mention

that silly little scooter many times on it.  I am SO sorry, Rosebud,

that you misunderstood what was written.  If we were to come pick

up posters, YOU, my dear, would be the FIRST we would come for!

  Now about this crazy leg of mine.  Last Friday, I had a "weird feeling

in my left foot and leg.  Very stiff feeling, like the inside was "stuffed

with something".   Sat & Sun, still felt weird.  The beginning of the

week seemed better.  THEN, Wednesday nite, I saw my left knee

was very swollen and the calf kind of hurt.  When I squatted to the

floor, to pick my my dog's dish, it was like someone was ripping my

calf and knee from the inside out!!  I got an appt the next morning,

yesterday, and my husband left work early to take me to urgent

care.  The doctor did a full exam and feels I have a "ruptured baker's

cyst".  She wanted to rule out a blood clot, and then sent me to the

hospital and I had a doppler ultra sound.  She explained to me that

a DVT (deep vein thrombosis) is a blood clot that can form in the

calf then work its way up.  I am so happy to say that the ultra sound

came back NEGATIVE for a blood clot!  (Sorry friends, you will have

to continue to put up with the Firefly here on the boards LOL)

  When I got up this morning, I had MASSIVE pain in the calf!!  I

got nervous and called my doctor.  He told me to ice it and keep it

elevated and if it's not better by Monday, to go back to see him.  He

wasn't in yesterday and they had me see a PA in urgent care.  I'm

thinking maybe all the walking I did at urgent care, then to the

hospital, might have put a big strain on the calf.  Hopefully, it will

be better by Monday.
