Of the millions of moments in our lives, there are only a few we will remember forever: the day your child is born, the day you finish paying off a loan, the day you fall in love. Tanya is a phenomenal beauty and said it best, "Life is a journey, not a destination."

Tanya's win wasn't just about the challenges that she endured on She's Got the Look. Her win is the sum total of every moment of her life. As the competition came to a close, the judges looked at the sum total of the time we got to spend with the Final Four: Tanya, Celeste, Bahia and Karin.

Each of them brought so many facets to the definition of beauty that any of them could have won. But Tanya has “The Look,” and so much more -- she's genuine and warm and plays fairly. She never loses sight of the fact that she's in a competition and wants to win, but remains a great team player.

At different moments throughout the competition every contestant could have had a shot at winning the prize. I still look back and wonder if Sharon “Chickie” Davis would have made it to the end, if the competitions were different. I miss Hope's candor and sense of humor. I wanted Paula to be more diverse than she allowed herself to be in the show.

From the start, I thought Bahia would be among the top contenders. I’m also fascinated with Karin's transformation… Up until the last moment, the contract could have gone to any of them. But Tanya flourished in a way that was inspiring to Sean, Beverly and myself. When the three finalists walked onstage for the last time, she looked like she’d already won. She had found a sense of peace and a sense of confidence, by toning down her pageant presentation, refining her style and putting forward a delicate combination of charm, poise and natural beauty that was honest and captivating.

I can't wait until we start the search for Season 2!
